Keto Nama Chocolate

Nama chocolates is soft, creamy and has a strong pure chocolate flavor. Nama chocolate originated in Japan. Nama means “raw” in Japanese. It refers to the pureness and freshness of the chocolate. Nama chocolate is a type of ganache. It is made of chocolate, heavy cream and butter. After it has solidified in the fridge it’s sprinkled with cacao powder.⁣⁣⁣ It is the perfect Keto fatbomb.

Ingredients

  • 150 g dark sugar-free Chocolate
  • 75 ml Heavy Cream
  • 10 g Butter (or 1 tbps of alcohol of preference)
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder for topping

  • 150 g dark sugar-free Chocolate
  • 75 ml Heavy Cream
  • 10 g Butter (or 1 tbps of alcohol of preference)
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder for topping

Preparation

Instructions

  1. Bring heavy cream to 50°C (120°F) in a small saucepan/ au bain Marie or in the microwave (don’t overheat though).
  2. Stir in the butter (or alcohol) and the chopped dark chocolate until all melted. Reheat short and gently if necessary.
  3. Coat a or 7cm x 7cm pan with parchment paper and add Nama chocolate mixture. Set in the refrigorator for 3 hours to solidify.
  4. Remove the Nama chocolate from the pan and cut into square cubes with a clean sharp knife. Clean the knife after every cut.
  5. Top with sugar-free cocoa powder. Store in a container in the refrigerator.
  6. Use high quality chocolate for this recipe. All fats should be cocoa butter (no vegetable oil).
