Keto Condensed Milk

I've been a huge fan of making and consuming this keto condensed milk. It's super easy to make and it lifts a lot of desserts to the next level.

Ingredients

  • 45g butter
  • 500ml heavy whipping cream
  • 35g ground monkfruit sweetener
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract (optional)

I've been eating the condensed milk with keto pancakes, on top of moelleux/lava cake and other desserts. 

Ingredients

  • 45g butter
  • 500ml heavy whipping cream
  • 35g ground monkfruit sweetener
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract (optional)

Preparation

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a sauce pot. 
  2. Stir in the heavy cream and ground monkfruit sweetener. 
  3. Set the heat to low and let is simmer for 30min. Stir occasionally. 
  4. After 30min the cream should be thickened. If you are not happy with the thickness, leave it on the low heat and check every 5min. Keep in mind that the condensed milk will thicken more once it's cooled down. 
  5. Remove from the heat and stir in vanilla extract. This is optional, but I really like it with the extra vanilla flavor. If you prefer the milky flavor skip this step. 
  6. Let it cool down and keep in a closed container in the frigde.
