Keto Nutella

Nutella is something my son can't go without. Or can he? Trick your kids and be astonished yourself. This low carb, sugar-free recipe will blow your mind. It took me a few attempts, but I'm quite happy with the result.

Ingredients

  • 80g sugar-free milk chocolate
  • 2 tbsp hazelnut butter
  • 2 tsp powdered monkfruit sweetener
  • 2 tsp flavorless MTC oil
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp dark cacao powder (optional)

Every time my son eats Nutella I feel a little nervous knowing how much sugar is in there. With this recipe he doesn't even know he isn't eating a more healthy version. Using sugar-free milk chocolate for the flavor and consistency, and adding a little bit of powdered dark cacao for the color really nail the replication. I've opted for MTC oil because of its added health benefits and it is flavorless.

Ingredients

  • 80g sugar-free milk chocolate
  • 2 tbsp hazelnut butter
  • 2 tsp powdered monkfruit sweetener
  • 2 tsp flavorless MTC oil
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp dark cacao powder (optional)

Preparation

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate. 
  2. Add the powdered sweetener while the chocolate is hot. 
  3. Add all other ingredients and stir.
